SMD worked with MIT leadership to create a permanent installation dedicated to former MIT president Charles M. Vest within the Stata Center on campus. SMD developed the concept of a continuous “LED thread” that would unify the publicly accessible “street” within the fragmented interior of the iconic Frank Gehry Building.
